The first aluminium bridge in the Central Federal District was put into operation in Tula in October 2020. The overhead pedestrian crossing near the Tula Suvorov Military School and the Patriot-Tula military & patriotic park is part of the complex project "Construction of the Bridge across the Upa River and the Overpass across the Railway". The bridge was built as part of the national project "Safe and High-Quality Roads". The length of the span is 40 m and the width is 3 m. The span, staircase frames, cladding panels and glazing systems are made of aluminium alloys.
