Crossing between the old and new areas of the Moscow Zoo Decorative railings made of an aluminium alloy make the pedestrian bridge across Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street look like a sea wave. The bionic design of the railings does not imply straight lines, everything here looks like it is organic. The frame of the railing bends in two planes and twists in a spiral. The peak of the wave rises 12 m above the roadway. The central part around the bridge span is made in the form of a tent with 13 independent supports and is a self-supporting structure.
