The Board of Directors of Kamensk-Uralsky smelter (KUMZ) has announced the appointment of Vasily Radko as the new CEO. He will focus on the sustainable development of the company and enhancing production efficiency.
Vasily Radko is 37 years old. He graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Mining University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in ferrous, non-ferrous and rare metals metallurgy (2007), a Master’s degree (2009), and a Ph.D. (2012). From 2012 to 2018, he held executive positions in several metallurgical companies. From 2018 to 2019, he led the Gaysky Non-Ferrous Metals Factory, and from 2019 to 2023, he was in charge of the Kamensk-Uralsky Non-Ferrous Metals Factory.
The previous CEO of KUMZ, Mikhail Nenyukov, has held this position since September 2022.
