Construction Economics in the Historic Centre International Forum is being hosted for the first time in Kazan. The forum will see participation from over 50 Russian regions and 15 countries from the CIS and beyond.
The primary goal of the forum is to gather and analyse the best construction practices from both Russia and overseas. Following the event, methodological recommendations for implementing best practices at both regional and federal levels will be suggested.
Why REBUS? It stands for Renovation, Unity, Balance, Sustainability and Construction (Russian acronym).
Every builder, entrepreneur, architect and producer of construction and finishing materials faces the challenge of solving a complex puzzle when executing projects in urban districts with historical architecture and during the renovation of historical heritage sites.
Invited participants include developers, planners, builders, architects, representatives from the tourism industry, suppliers and manufacturers of construction materials, experts from relevant companies and departments, and students from related universities.

At the REBUS Forum, the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials and Construction Industry will host a roundtable discussion titled Innovations in a Historical Centre. The Composition of a Historical Centre. Materials. Olga Ogorodnikova, Head of Construction Sector at the Aluminium Association, will be presenting at the event.
Key topics include global experiences in developing historical centres, characteristics and specifics of main construction materials used in historical centres, and examples of successful application of certain types of construction materials.
