Can Pack Group has worked in the metallic packaging sector for over 20 years. During this time, the company has become a leading producer in drinks packaging in Central and Eastern Europe and continues to strengthen its market position in Western Europe, Asia and Africa.

Stock Company CAN-PACK S.A. was founded in Krakow in 1992 as a daughter company of Pol-Am-Pack S.A., created to manufacture aluminium drinks cans with a capacity of 330 mln, and easy to remove aluminium lids SOT 206. The first production line of drinks cans was launched in Bjesk in 1994. CAN-PACK S.A. is currently the main company of Can Pack Group, and is the key area of focus.

As a result of engineering projects and investments to the amount of one million dollars, as well as installation of the most advanced technological equipment, the packaging production technology reached a world-class standard. As well as drinks packaging, the Can Pack product range includes welded steel pipes for the food processing industry, easy to open lids, aerosol cans, bottle lids, packaging for the chemical and cosmetics industry, glass containers, as well as services linked to the production of packaging.

In recent years, Can Pack Group has attained impressive success, transforming into a modern group of companies, belonging to a number of leading global packaging manufacturers. More than 4,000 people are employed by the companies, and each year the amount of sales exceeds USD 1.4 mln. The production capacity of the group per year exceeds 11 bln drinks cans, more than 30 bln bottle lids, more than 1 mln units of metallic packaging for the food processing and chemical industries and 220,000 tonnes of glass containers.

The organisational structure of Can Pack Group today is based on five holding sectors: drinks cans, packaging for food processing and chemical products, bottle lids and development services. In the service sector, support functions focus on providing services to all companies in the Group (accounting, Human Resources, recycling, turnaround of transport packaging, IT, etc.) In this way, integration of the activities was achieved creating a structure that addresses the needs of the rapidly growing organisation and encourages increased product specialisation in the companies within the Can Pack Group.
