Council of Secondary Non-ferrous Metallurgy Industrial Manufacturers is a non-profit partnership founded in the year 2000.
The goals of the partnership are to assist Russian state power and control bodies in developing efficient state policy of the secondary non-ferrous metal industry, and to support Russian manufacturers of non-ferrous metals and promote their industrial, R&D, and economic potential
The partnership develops and reviews proposals made by state bodies for regulating scrap and waste from non-ferrous metal, promotes the development of Russian technology and equipment to manufacture non-ferrous metals, provides support in the field of scientific research, and provides analytical and consulting services.
An important area of focus for the partnership is to encourage the export potential of Russian manufacturers of non-ferrous metals. It also provides companies and individual entities with opportunities for coordinated collaboration, as well as good practices in the field of manufacture of non-ferrous materials.
