SMZ is a leading provider of aluminum sheet, plate and extrusions, as well as innovative architectural products, that advance the automotive, aerospace, commercial transportation, industrial and building and construction markets.

SMZ - one of Russia’s largest producers of fabricated aluminum. The facility employs approximately 3,000 people and manufactures a wide variety of flat-rolled, extruded and forged products serving customers in key end markets, including aerospace, packaging, shipbuilding, automotive, building and construction, oil and gas and transportation.

SMZ plant has four core production units: Casthouse, Flat-Rolled Products, Extrusions, Forgings. In 2016 was launched joint venture with VSMPO-AVISMA which produces advanced titanium and aluminum alloys for aircraft.

SMZ quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, AS 9100, TS 16949. Environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001. Samara is the first aluminum processing plant in Russia certified against ASI standards.
