Evgeny Vasiliev has been the Head of Transport Infrastructure at the Aluminium Association since 2019. In this position, he is responsible for the development of aluminium bridge building in Russia, the improvement of the regulatory framework and the development of technologies used in the construction of pedestrian and road bridges with aluminium alloys.
Evgeny Vasiliev graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod University of Architecture and Civil Engineering with a degree in Construction of Roads and Aerodromes in 1994. From July 1994 to November 2009, he worked for leading contractors in the Nizhny Novgorod region involved in the construction, renovation and repair of roads and man-made structures. He progressed from Road Section Foreman to CEO. From December 2009 to August 2018, he was the First Deputy Director and Director in the Main Road Directorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
For his contribution to the development of transport infrastructure in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, he received federal and regional awards several times.
